Here's the Story:

This deer was a mystery. I had never seen him on any of my trail cams nor had anyone else. I was getting set up to take a doe when I noticed something moving through the trees further behind her. All of a sudden this guy steps out and my plan immediately changed. As soon as he stepped out he kicked all the other deer off the hand corn I had thrown out. As he milled around I waited for him to turn broadside. After a few minutes he started to act as if he was getting a little weary, but he was still hard quartering to. Then turned, still slightly quartering to, but enough that I decided to take the shot. I watched as my arrow found its mark and the deer took off! I waited about fifteen minutes, which seemed like hours, before getting on the blood trail. Tracking the deer was short lived for he had only ran about forty-five yards or so and piled up! This buck is my biggest buck to date and I couldn’t be more proud, especially since I took him with a bow!
